energy measurement

Hello needs me right for my english I'm apologize from Vienna and can not English well since I first read of homey on the Internet I am a big fan and would buy me one too. I would be interested if homey may recognize from Fibaro between plug the power consumption (for example, the attached between the plug on the washing machine and if the power drops below 50 watts for 10minutes homey signals a push over message on the iphone washing machine is finished)

We have our homey home hope for good progress so as soon as possible

  • I would like if the homey led ring could show how much energy I'm using from a smart meter device. (above or below average). Having something in the house to make you aware of your energy use can save a lot.
  • above or below average
What is average? On an average sunny day mid-day in July, our usage is -1000Wh while the "solar-installation" is producing on average 2500-3000Wh. On these days we use 1500-2000Wh and the smartmeter won't show the used solar energy before the SmartMeter. SmartMeter are, in some installation/situations, not "smart".

In these cases you need to combine the production figures with the smartMeter figures.
  • A simple implementation could be a hardcoded value. A more elaborate implementation could determine the average based on past usage depending on the time of day, day of the week, month and outside weather.

I think this is a fun little project for custom apps, not something which should be supported natively.

As an app has the ability to control the LED ring, also as a 'screensaver', this is a great example of a community app!
