Z-Wave network broken - Firmware 1.2.0-rc.12

Hi all,

I just installed firmware version 1.2.0-rc.12 and now all the devices on Z-wave seem to have problems.
When trying to turn on a light using Home or use the S2 switch nothing happens.
The problem persists on all different Z-wave products I use (greenwave, Neo Coolcam and Fibaro).

Underneat a part of the Z-Wave log, its the "Watchdog module reset: Error: timeout" that worries me most.

    Watchdog has been added to RC12, stated in the changelog https://firmware.athom.com/ But as you are on experimental you can try the new update, 1.2 (as it will go to stable) has been pushed out by Athom.

    Also you can better make a issue on Github for this so they can take care of your problem.
  • @Kay-Arne did you reboot Homey after the update?
    And how much time did you wait before testing it after update / reboot?

    I had a similar experience (no devices responding), rebooted Homey and waited for the Z-wave network to start-up completely (can take 15 minutes)... and now it's working OK

    Thanks for you help! As @lubbertkramer mentioned the RC12 update had been "superseeded" by a all shiny and new 1.2 update! I installed this new 1.2 version and the problems are gone now! Also there are not records being logged about watchdog anymore, so all seems good! Like @TedTolboom I also experience the Z-Wave network taking quite some time to work fully. Not a real problem but just something to keep in mind when restarting Homey ;)
