Wanted: advice for simplest, cheapest 'press button' that works with Homey

I am looking for a simple, cheap button (run on batteries of course) that I can use to start a flow with in Homey.
(the flow is used to switch on a light that is powered on a Action socket).

What is the best, cheapest and already working button device I could buy for this?
(e.g. I know that there are doorbells that could do this, but then I need to buy the whole doorbell set, which would not be my preferred option).

@Rocodamelshe that's sounds nice. But how do I include this remote into a flow trigger then?
Could you please elaborate?

Edit: oh wait you suggest to do it without any homey flow, but a direct control. I need the remote elsewhere so I'm afraid this is not the most ideal solution then...

The NODon is more expensive but you get more buttons so the price per button/fucntion is less

I already have a Hue Tap button installed. Is there any change that the Tap will be supported by Homey's Hue app, so I can use that button to trigger a flow that switches on a Kaku/Action socket? (Question to @Emile as he developed the Hue app, I think?)

Emile doesn't respond that much on the forum.
But I do know what he would have answered:

First zigbee needs to be implemented (not the first on the list for implementation) and even then it might take a while because the hue tap uses a zigbee protocol that is not on the list yet for the implementation of zigbee

In the case of hue only the protocol "light link" is being implemented at the moment, the one that the hue bulbs and dim use, tap uses the "Green Power" protocol
so it might be implemented, but not in the near future.

But... but......u can add the action socket to Homey but u cannot add the action remote (the one that came with the socket) to Homey? Must be an old, deprecated thingie then?

I use a simple KAKU remote (http://www.klikaanklikuit.nl/shop/nl/producten/zenders/afstandsbediening-ayct-129/), you add this as a device and then you can program the buttons in the IF colum to start anything you like.

there are 4 buttons, 2 up and 2 down, they just have a big plate over 2 buttons in a vertical matter

Thinking about getting one of these too. However, what are the experiences with the range of the wireless connection? I would love to place it in my bathroom and use it as a trigger for music (one button for my playlist, another for my girlsfriends playlist). My Homey is about 6 meters away and there are a door and a wall in between...

My kaku switch only reacts within 1 meter from homey. And i have this kaku awst-8802! At this Moment Not a good choice.

I actually just bought one AWST-8802 (25% discount at Gamma Netherlands this week), and it works from my bathroom, so no problems.

@jorden that is really strange. Perhaps my 8802 is broken. But it has a range... only 1 meter but better than 0 meter

I read a lot about the poor 433 reception of homey. My two 8802 kaku switches work only 1 meter away from homey well a socket 2 floors away receives the signal with no problem. Runing homey on 1.1.2 firmware

The 8802 is a nice cheap switch but if homey is not receiving its signal.

Homey says it is a software problem. My question how many have a working kaku 8802 switch working at a distance greater than lets say 5 meters or 1 wall?

II use 3 kaku's PAR-1000 made in 2009, distance from Homey 3 to 7 meters 1 is at the first floor .They always connect.

My homey sends signals to my kaku wall plugs also fine, even 2 floors away. The problem is reseiving. Are people able to use for example their 8802 kaku switches further then 1 m away?

I placed an AEX-701 signal amplifier next to the Homey. While Homey does not receive the signal of my CoCo (KaKu) motion detectors, the amplifier does. The retransmitted signal by the AEX-701 is then detected by the Homey.

Only six different, predefined commands can be retransmitted.

The amplifier seems like a nice temp solution. Strange that some have good reception of the 443 signal and others don't. Checked multiple loacations so interference can not be it. I truely hope it is software related and a fix will follow. Update 1.1.3 maybe :-)

I use the Smartwares SH5-tdr-f remote. Good range, 10 buttons works like a charm. Selling for +- 20 euro. Use it upstairs approx 12 meters from Homey going through several walls.
