Developing an installed app

Before I go and 'ef' up all my Fibaro device pairings and maybe even Homey itself.
Is it possible to develop on an installed app without losing settings.

So in other words, can I run from the com.fibaro folder: 
athom project --run
and CTRL-C out of it, whilst already having it installed.

If not, how should I go about it?

    All at your own risk (don't blame me :)) but that should work. Do not uninstall the original app before you do the --run because that will most likely make you lose all devices.
    If you run it from commandline it should run like it were an update on the original app; all settings should still be there. Just remember to install the original app (or your adapted version) once you're done.

    Ok, sounds great. Will try it after dinner. Want to see if the latest zwave-driver addition getOnWake will fix some of my never stopping motion alarms.

    Oh and don't forget if you want to go back, install the modified app with --install toen go to the app store from within the Homey app and install the original app from the app store
