Is there an SPI port available? (I have some RFM69 433 MHz nodes (moteino from lowpowerlab.com) I would like to integrate with minimal (software) effort.

    Nope, there is no direct hardware access available

    What kind of modulation does the 433 MHz transceiver support, and does it support encryption?

    ASK & FSK. You have direct control over the pulses, so encryption is possible.

    So, no standard encryption 'on module' e.g. EAS-128

    Also, do you think implementing OOK (OnOff Keying) software modulation for use with the dutch KAKU remotes will be possible with the on board module?
