Miniature Homey NFC key chain use case

What would be an useful/funny use case for the miniature Homey key chain?

    How 'bout when you get ready to go to work... You grab your coat (with Homey key chain in it) from the hallway and walk back into the living room.

    Homey says "go get 'em dawg" and plays the song "Eye of the Tiger" for you.

    As for useful stuff, no idea!

    Haha, that would be awesome xD.

    More usefull thing maybe:
    It turns on the lights or does something you programmed it to do when you (the key chain) enters your home? Same can be done for leaving of course.

    NFC is stands for Near Field Communication which means NFC will not be detected if more then 10cm apart from each other:

    What I currently use an NFC tag attached to my keychain for:

    - Unlock the door (there's a reader behind the door, very DIY)
    - Bump it to my tablet hanging on the wall, which unlocks then
    - Use it at a friends' house to play my favorite track and turn his lights to green when I enter his place :-)

    You could also use it to launch the Homey app if your phone supports NFC..

    Does homey support ibeam (Bluetooth 4.0) ? This would allow homey to track you location around your house.

    Do you mean iBeacon? We're probably going to support that, if we find that it's accurate enough :)
