    You can't get 0.8.18 or 0.8.19, apparently they've skipped deployment of those versions. So it's 0.8.17 (regular) or 0.8.20 (experimental)

    It never matured I guess, experimental channel went straight from 0.8.17 to 0.8.20..

    You have to check experimental and uncheck auto update

    Yes you need to check it because it is experimental
