Supported? CoCo with Code Discs / KaKu code schijfjes

edited April 2015 in Archive
Hi Gents,

I've been following a series of reports on Dutch TN about home automation/domotica. It got me thinking of further automating the simple setup I now have. Since I can't find a specific answer to my question in this forum I'd thought I'd start a new topic.

I have a large amount of CoCo receivers and a TPC-300 transmitter. All the receivers have code discs. I would like to know if I can control the receivers and create "scenes" with Homey in a more advanced way than now (the TPC is rather limited)?

I have the following receivers (just to be absolutely sure :) )

SUN-500
YC-1000
YC-400
CM-300
PA3-1000R/PAR-1000

TIA

Greetz,

Sjonnie

  • Well, that is an overwelming response ;-)

We can close this case since I have decided to invest in another system/vendor. HomeWizard it will be!

  • Wow, one strike out? Sometimes they are busy for a week with important things like interviews, testing, exhibits, etc.. But if you don't want to give them a chance to respond. Too bad.
  • Well, I thought the community would provide the answer. Silly me...

Wow, that stuff is really old! Do they work with the newer remote? If yes, they work with Homey. If not sure, try asking Kaku themselves!

Yes it is really old and also really simple to support (I suspect ;-)). It would make adoption of Homey and others easier for those who have invested in these Domotica for Dummies systems the last couple of years. Migrating to more advanced and newer systems and protocols could then be done step by step.
