nRF24L01 anyway?

After removing the nRF24L01 transceiver from the plans, is there a way to add it to Homey anyway? I was kind of counting on it, because I have a nRF network in place already.

No, but you could create a bridge from Homey to an arduino that is then connected to the nrf

I think i missed something.. Why is the nRF gone? is it replaced with something else or is it just taken out?

"The requirement to open and close the casing manually was needed to place the non-certified nRF24l01+ transceiver (the one shipped with the geek edition).
