Room name in naming devices

When you coming from Homey version 0.8.14 to 0.8.17 then you noticed that there are many chances.
One of them is seeming the disconnection of the room name from a device.
Only you can have more devices with the same name in difference rooms.
  • Main or middle lamp.
  • TV-lamp.
  • Emergency lamp.
Now there is a list of all the devices, here KaKu, on the flow editor, missing in witch room they are.
Change the names by added room name or initials makes those names sooner too long for the cards.

We can choose:
  • make 2 small text fields on the card with room name above the device name.
  • a much longer device name field on the cards.
Flows had to be understandable a long time after you make them so good naming is crucial.

    I noticed this too. In the Flow editor but also in the insights. Another thing is that you cant scroll the device list / the list is cut off in Insights so you cant see all devices.

    In Homey Flow I can scroll through the KaKu device list. (One is missing).
    There it was that I saw 'duplicate' names. Missing the room they came from. Added some initials now.

    What you mean by 'Insights' I don't understand, sorry.

    The screen where you can create graphs is called Insights. It's one of the four available screens.

    Right, that screen, I know now what you mean. There are no things for me to use that. ;)
