    Ah, it's ANSLUTA!

    http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/80288328/

    Frequency range: 2400 MHz ~ 2483.5 MHz.

    Won't work...
  • It might work... If the Arduino library is there and you are able to hook up an Arduino to your Homey, and use a 2.4 GHz radio to reach the IKEA module. You can already do that with a standalone Arduino that uses the REST-API of the Homey. However, you need to be quite geeky for this ;).
  • Webshop is probably incorrect about frequency :
    http://www.ikea.com/en/en/manuals/ansluta-remote-control__AA-855696-2_pub.pdf

but don't know if it will work ....

SETTING UP YOUR REMOTE CONTROL: Before you can use your remote control you will need to complete a one-time set-up process to pair the remote with the lights. 1 Press and hold the “Transmitter” button until the indicator lamp flashes. 2 Press and hold the “Off” button until the indicator lamp stops flashing. 3 When the indicator light is steady, your remote control is ready to use. 4 Now you can use your remote control to turn your lamp/s on and off. SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE USE Technical Data for ANSLUTA remote control: Frequency band: 433.00 - 434.790 MHz Operating frequency: 433.92 MHz Number of channels: 1 Transmit power: Max 8 mW Mode of operation: Simplex Complies with IDA Standards DA106634
  • no its the UTRUSTA a older typ of the ANSLUTA how kan ik test it of it is 433mhz i already  try to read it with a arduino and the nrf905 but i think my code is wrong  noting happens
  • afaik:  UTRUSTA == ANSLUTA
    http://www.ikea.com/nl/nl/catalog/products/90300773/
just renamed! but you never know... Marketing guys ;-)

(Dutch: De ANSLUTA afstandsbediening is de vervanging van de UTRUSTA afstandsbediening. Alleen de naam is gewijzigd, de functie is identiek.)

  • I bought two of these Ansluta transmitters this morning. Hopefully someone will create an app for it.

Probably not since it is 2436.20 MHz and as far as i know that is not is a supported protocol/frequency with Homey.
  • That's unclear for now, the manual says it 433 Mhz. Also, but that's just an idea I have for now: Bluetooth is the 2,4 GHz range, so there is a radio on board...

  • I'm pretty sure it's 433 MHz and they've just stated it wrong on the IKEA website. I ran into this captured signal on GitHub last week: https://github.com/tjanson/IKEA-Ansluta
  • Hi everyone,

Last evening I opened my Ansluta transmitter to see what's in it.
I tried to search something online but couldn't find much. Maybe one of you can come a bit further.

    Hereby a photo I took.

  • The chipset is a TI http://www.ti.com/product/CC2500/technicaldocuments

which is a 2.4 ghz chipset.
