Too bad... The logging still isn't working in the new 0.4.2 version of the app.

One way or the other, the second update of a device will not trigger the insights logging (or even the 'measure temperature changed' part. Only the first change during a the application runtime will be noted, and logged.

I think I 'miswrite' some variables at the first update, making the trigger ineffective, but I need to figure out where. That might take some time.

Sorry for the delay! I hope the app is still useful in its current state. It will only get better ;-)
Take your time! We can atleast read/write to our evohome system haha (which is the most important part)

Good news (hopefully I wont jinx it ;-) ) . I think I found the issue. Or better, several issues ;-) . One issue that Homey 0.8.37+ now requires a more strict input when sending a trigger.  As I upgraded while troubleshooting, this hampered the fact-finding mission in the code...

I am currently running a working version with live data instead of simulated data on my Homey to see if it's stable, also when adding/deleting devices, which had some minor issues.  If it works OK, I'll upload it tonight or tomorrow to GitHub and push it to the app store for approval.

I've published 0.4.2 to GitHub https://github.com/ralfvd/nl.bevlogenheid.evohome ; this solves the 'no insights' bug and it improves the removing and adding of devices.

I've not put it to the app store yet, as it will have one bug for 'new installations'; if you do a clean install, and add one or more devices, they won't get updated until you restart once. After one restart, you can add/remove devices all you want, updates will continue.

For new installs, that is a major showstopper (which is not present in the current app-store version). So I'll work on fixing that bug before putting it to the app store.

But, if you'd like insights, just install the github version; it should keep your settings and devices from the app store version installation.

Oh, and there are some new trigger and action cards.  Look at the readme file for details. I didn't fully test the 'target temperature changes' yet.

    Happy heating!

And 0.4.3 is on GitHub and pending approval in the app store; this solves the first-run bug.

0.4.3 is in the app store, this should be a pretty stable release.  More info in the 'official' app forum: https://forum.athom.com/discussion/1615/published-honeywell-evohome-0-4-3#latest
