Mini-USB replacement power cable / suggestion?

Hi everyone.

The first batch of Homey-units seem to have shipped with a sub-par mini-USB power cable that effectively tilts and lifts the Homey upwards as the photo below (borrowed from this Github-thread) shows. Since it will be up to anyone affected to replace her or his cable, does anyone have any suggestions about what to look for?

I suppose that a fancy-looking textile or flat cable would do, however the problem seems to be that the Homey doesn't have a micro-USB connector but rather a mini-USB connector, which makes it a lot harder to find suitable options. Any suggestions (preferably white and stylish ones, matching the Homey) are more welcome!

Bend the cable once and it will stay in shape well enough

Just have a look in some other topics. Then you read that this problem is mentioned a lot before. Also a solution as well temporary as permanent is profided.

For me I had to bend the cable 90 degrees for 5 seconds, then plugged it in, and it was fixed. Forever. And it looks smart standing on the table here. I think the issue is exaggerated and Athom should not provide new cables and spend their money wiser. And mind you, I am one of those with the (little too) sturdy cable. My 2cts.

Yes, any suggestion would be welcome and design should be reviewed for next version.

Please read first what others write. A first batcher give already an answer on that cable and that count also for me.
It is mentioned in a more direct way between us and Athom.

I noticed it. Corrected it (=bend it a little). And had no more problem. For me personally no more reason to talk about it, think about it, etc.. :-)  B.t.w. I got exactly the same cable as you guys, as I can see on the photo's. I respect that some think differently about it, but Idon't undestand it. I would put my energy elsewhere, cause after bending it one time, it's fixed. :-)

I agree totally. But I wouldn't want a new one. Waste of money for Athom, for me.
