Z-Wave died; how to proceed?

  • Maybe give it some more time.
I have 7 sensors installed (using the completely useless multiple saving method by the way  ) and all send motion triggers to homey. When I installed the first one I stalked taco because it wouldn't stop sensing motion and the general alarm was constantly triggered. When I woke up the next morning it worked as it should. I know there were different symptoms but you never know.

Thank you for making a video. This helps a lot!

You are pressing the button on the sensor too slow. The manual says 3 presses but just keep bashing that button till Homey registers the node.

The timout should have fired way early. That should be fixed in 0.8.18.

Also to push the settings to the device you should press the button quicker. Like 4-5 times in a second.
  • @moek your devices woke up at their defined interval in the night and then Homey could push the settings to them.
