geotagging / welcome home function

Currently all phones at my house are iPhones, however the iPhone app is not yet released.

will the `somebody comes home` function work? or does it rely on the app to be installed on your mobile?

    Good question, me and my girlfriend both use Lumia phones, and for Windows there is no smartphone app planned (yet??).

    There wil not be a Windows App developed by Athom.
    Somewhere on the forum some guys of the Microsoft Amsterdam Office said the will develop an app for homey.

    Just let those guys keep up to there promiss and it will al be fine.

    Microsoft is working on some kind of technology so that iOs apps can be ported really easily to Windows 10 universal apps... So if they keep that promise it will be really easy to modify the iOs Homey app to a Windows app. They we're also working on Android apps emulation (instead of porting) but that project seems to be on hold.
