Homey & openHAB

Hi all,
I'll just dive right in.. :
Anyone here have any experience with using openHAB as a front-end to Homey?
I've been using Homey as my main controller for some time now but would like to make and use a graphic front-end. Starting with simple things like triggering flows but if possible also exchange information between Homey en openHAB later on. And in time possibly also using features from openHAB that Homey is lacking at the moment.
Yes, I am aware of the HomeyDa.sh project. And while that looks ok that is not the direction I would want for a front end interface.
Anyone working on something similar or have this working already by any chance?
