[Bugs] Telldus app

Hi.
The telldus app, found here: https://github.com/yhaugom/com.telldus/issues has a few bugs.
The original developer is quite busy, and replied to an issue with: "Ok, then a parsing of the settings value is probably needed. Feel free to try it out. I am really busy these days." - a month ago.
I'm not a developer, but is this a trivial task? If anyone can help out, please do - i'm guessing that quite a few people use these telldus devices, since they are both great and cheap.
Before installing the app, the devices status was always updated correctly, so the communication from the devices must be ok - and simply not interpreted by the app.
