Send a Message to a mobile phone using Homeyscript

Hi,
I wrote a small program that checks the temperature of a room an then uses a heating profile to determine if the valves of the wall heating should be opened or not. To test (and as an exercise) it I would like to send the generated commands to my cell phone. I found the Homey.mobile and Homey.notifications managers. But the documentation does not help and I couldn't find any examples. I would appreciate any pointers or examples.
