Homey not accessible from the internet

I am having issues accessing Homey from the smartphone app or desktop app from outside my house.
When i am local there isn't a problem but when i am outside i get the message that Homey is offline.
WHen i use my laptop and a VPN to my house Homey is online!
Is this a known problem?
Homey Firmware Version: 1.5.11-rc.1

    Is the time on Homey correct?
    Or do you have specific dns server settings with an own dns?

    I don't have a DNS server.
