Adding new Qubino z-wave device freezes on "adding application specific association groups"

Hi!!
I'm new to the forum and currently trying to develop a driver for a Qubino device that's not currently supported (ZMNHOD1 Flush Shutter DC). It is a multichannel device.
So I copy most of the code and configuration from a very similar device for starters. Homey recognizes it but when it's being added it freezes up the add device dialogue (desktop app ) on the final stage (application specific association groups ). The device is added to the z-wave network but it never shows up in the application.
If I try ro add the decice as a generic z-wave device it's added normally.
Anyone else experienced this?
