Remote control Tv-lift

is it possible to learn my ir remote control from my "tv-lift" to homey?

  • Based on what I've read here in the forums from Athom personnel's comments, in theory, yes. In reality, this must be tested first before conclusively it can be guaranteed to function. Homey is able to learn IR signals, and reproduce them. But IR signals come in many forms and it could be something so strange and illogical that perhaps the Homey can't deal with it. Who knows? It has to be tested. I would suspect though that it will be possible. I doubt that there's any sort of complexity to the signal - sounds to me like a super simple IR signal that should be possible to reproduce on the Homey.
  • i don't know if there's a way to create a button with the ir command behind it. So that it is possible to create your own remote control.
  • If it's not working, you could add a z-wave rolling shutter control to your tv-lift. That should work with Homey.
