Custom IR remotes

I'm trying to add custom IR remotes (Air Conditioner) to replicate a signal. Homey read the signal (as the icon animates when I press a button on the remote). Nevertheless how many times I press the button it will never been added.
I tried another remote (Samsung TV) and it was recognized and button was added as expected.
Any suggestions?
