Geo fencing icw Philips hue bridge possible?

I have my Philips hue lamps connected by honey without using the hue bridge.
My presence function isn't working properly on homey icw Android phones .
Is it worth trying to add the hue bridge and use the geo fencing of the hue bridge icw homey instead of using the inbuilt presence functionality ?

Don't know if this kind of information is available in a card that can be used to set home/away from the bridge to Homey in the Hue app from the app store (i guess not). There are a lot of other apps for presence or other ways like with motion sensors from Hue/z-wave or other zigbee brands :)
  • I was thinking that homey can control hue also if the bridge is used. Homey then must be able to check if lamps are on or off. It should be possible to toggle a lamp by the geo fence of the hue and homey knows if you are home or not.
Only my thought so no clue if this is going to work...

Presence because a light is on/off will be hard, don't you turn on the lights automatic when you're away to make the impression you are home? Also i don't know if a trigger card is present in the app for turned on/off so if that's not the case then you need to check every x minutes if a light is on and so yes set you home
  • I installed the bridge but the geofence is only working for the hue lamp.
The hue app is compatible with the toon app but in that case the toon can only controll the hue lamps and its not possible to controll the tone (temp etc) as far as i know.
Ill wait till next homey update i guess...
