homey as phone/portophone

hi ya`all,.

is there an workaround that when you away from home, and someone else is AT home, you could communicate with each other?

that would be fun,  but it seems that there is now way that you could listen to homey from the app.

Of Course there isn't a way to listen to homey from the app. That would be a major privacy breach? For talking to each other when you are not near each other humanity invented the telephone a couple decades ago

Years later they created soft-phones.... software like voip and even included in many als you probably already have installed.... Facebook messenger, WhatsApp, and many more.
You don't have need to be in the neighbourhood of a wired device at home.

But to scare your GF

Yeah.. or smoke signals. But that isnt an effective answer to my question huh .

It could never be a privacy breach if you use it for private purposes. Otherwise the whole setting behind domotica is a privacy breach #location / gps / voip / etc.
