Improving presence?

I have been searching the forum to find a better presence solution. To be honest, the existing ones (stock and smart presence) does not cut it, by far. I often get "You came home" after being home for several hours, despite that I have enabled no sleep on my Samsung S7s wifi.
Are there any other alternatives or workaround to improve presence accuracy?
It would be nice to have the Homey also checking for response of bluetooth devices. Well, maybe not a great idea, but the current solution is not really good enough to have presence as a trigger.

Maybe I need to reconsider having presence as a trigger. It works fairly okay for me (using an Android Phone). But for my wife's Iphone 7, it is really useless.
It is so simple and it works so good. My homey knows if there is 100% certain nobody in the house, that here is probably someone in the house or that there is 100% certein somebody in the house. Even if no one is carrying a registered phone, like the house keeping or the kid.
p.s. presence is not the same as occupancy: http://dreamgreenhouse.com/projects/2013/presence/index.php
I don't want to come out as ungrateful or greedy, but prior to Homey I used like 6-7 different services to automate things. The idea with the Homey was to get rid of these and only use one service (Homey). That is why I don't really want to introduce more services, I set my hopes to different Homey-apps that maybe can fill that space.
