what does 'relatieve helderheid' exactly mean?

I noticed that on dimmer flow cards there are a few options such as:
- on or off
- dim level
- change color

But also:
- relatieve helderheid (dunno the exact translation)

What does this last setting exactly do?
The other options are self explaining but i am not sure what this relative exactly should do or ment to do.

Who can explain this to me....

    A light can go from 0 to 100%. With this card you can set the light for example 25% lower or higher. This is the percentage compared to the original scale, not the actual light. So it's : level 50% -> dim 20% -> level 30% (0.5 - 0.2 = 0.3)
    It's not : level 50% -> dim 20% -> level 40% (0.5 - 0.2 x 0.5 = 0.4)
