Honey integrating with other controllers eg fibaro

I read somewhere that honey could utilise other controllers for Zwave. I have a Fibaro hcl and some Zwave devices in difficult to reach places and thought integration with my existing controller and the ability to use homey’s integration with HomeKit and other radios would be ideal; save me from pulling down ceiling chandeliers for the switches etc.

Can one use other controllers in the the way I am hoping,
