This version allows you to power toggle the Horizon, and send keys. You can send a key like the numbers 0-9, but also Menu, Up, Down, Pause, DVR, Menu and more.
You can only toggle the power. This means, that if the system is on, you can turn it off by using the toggle. Toggle again and you can turn it on again. There are no dedicated ON and OFF keys. Besides that, I was unable to make a detection mechanism. It seems that the detection method that is described by others on the internet (opening http://<HORIZON IP>:62137/DeviceDescription.xml) does not work for me. I also read that it doesn't work for some other people so I decided not to add it.
The app can be made much more complete if we can work out a way to detect if the box is on or off.
For now, enjoy! I have added it to the app store but it has to be reviewed first.
Had two crashes when toggled power but that was it.
All the other input commands are working with mine box.
I would propose to do so, instead of continuing this topic, to be able to make and update the opening post yourself...
