Veiu doorbell, is it possible to sniff network if somebody rings?

Recently I bought a doorbell from Kickstarter, The Veiu. This smart doorbell is connected through wifi and when somebody rings the bell, the app on phone or tablet gives a signal. But they heva not (yet ) an api to connect to, for example, Homey.
So the only signal in house is from a speaker on the device itself on the door. That is way to soft to reach the living room.
So I was wondering if its possible to sniff the wifi network for the signal if somebody rings the bell to tell Homey to ring the KaKu mobile doorbell that I have in the living room.
Is something like this possible?
