Choose between secure and non-secure on z-wave devices?

How can I choose to add a device non-secure? I Have a Aeotech on/off plug-in switch, but I can only add it as secure device which make noe sense for a on/off switch for a light bulb:)

  • @steinis secure is the new standard (enforced by the Z-wave alliance since this year)...
Why would you like to add a device unsecure? Is something not working?

ahh is it like that now. I comming from HS3, z-way and Indigo Domotics and all of these struggle hard to make the secure z-wave stable / working at all. So I use only secure on keylocks. You also have smaller range, not all input from devices are sent over secure and it use a lot lot more battery!

I have added only a couple of z-wave devices to Homey but they only work if Homey is less then a meter from the device.
