Home detection question

Hi, 
I'm wondering what the difference (or correlation) is between the "Use home detection" in the iOS app and "presence detection" in the desktop app.
1) If I disable "Use home detection" in iOS, will my flow including "presence detection" stop working?
2) Will changing of the radius in the iOS app affect my flows?

    When you disable the home detection your flows based on away/home (presence) stop working unless you have other flows that set manually or by other apps/mechanic your state to home/away
