Does the Homey work if not connected to the internet?

edited September 2017 in Archive
Hi, as per the title does Homey still work if you lose your internet connection?

Are the flows and configurations stored locally or in the cloud.

For example if my thermostat is driven by the status of a sensor or switch but my internet connection has failed, would the connection between the physical devices be actioned through the Homey without needing to pass the command to the cloud and back?

Thanks

  • There stored local, so homey keeps working when wifi drops.
Only apps that depend on internet like for example buienradar wont get info so dont work.

You can access homey via webrowser on its local ip on youre lan.
