What do I use to 'see' if my outside Light is switched on?

I have an outside flood light, attached to my house, that is triggered on movements from an external movement sensor. I'd like to start a recording and do other stuff when the light is actually switched on. (I don't know how much Volt is used to send the 'ON' signal from the sensor to the light).
So I need to place some smart measuring device in between the sensor and the light.
I guess there must be some sort of generic device that can do this, AND is also smart AND is also Homey-compatible.
Preferably as cheap as possible.
Any tips?

Or and older generation Fibaro door/window sensor. They have an external input, that could be fed by the motion on signal. So, if the floodlight is triggered by the motion sensor, the door/window sensor is triggered too.
I bought one second hand to do something similar... If my 9ld school doorbell is pressed, it also triggers the input of the Fibaro...making my doorbell smart(is) and available in Homey.
Not now, I am on vacation.
However, the old version has a 4-way screw connector in the unit which also allows to connect a (separately sold) temperature sensor.
The newer version does not have this auxiliary connector, but comes with a built in temperature sensor.
I believe @caseda was the one that pointed this out to me.
Okay, would be great if you or @caseda knows a type/model no.
The older fgk-00x (x = 1 - 9) (z-wave plus and non-plus versions) does have this, be careful that there can't be any power on this input, so only a switch can be attached, as most motion sensors (230v) have power on the trigger wire.
If that is the case your best bet is a build in module like the fibaro Dimmer 2 (fgd-212) or Switch 2 (fgs-2x3) or the newer aeotec nano switch/dimmer.
Don't know any other brands from the top of my head with measuring
