LED Ring defect

I have an issue with my LED Ring there's alway a white light on in each setting. when homey listens yellow and on one point white. This is for every setting even when i turn of the LED ring.

Is this a software bug or a hardware bug. Cause then I Know if I need to send it back

If your ring is off and you say Ok Homey and no orange ring comes up that would look like a hardware defect, you better contact Athom by mail directly -> https://www.athom.com/en/support/

I have also a Ring and yesterday it had an update and had to login .
Dutch  ik moest alle aangesloten emailadressen opnieuw aanmelden.
I have my Ring not connect to my homey. 
Perhaps this give you a clou

I just wanted to report thay there was an update  and had to log in all over          i have not connected to my homey because i do not need this.
Its just a hint

I think you are talking about different rings @WathLamers is talking about the Ring Doorbell I guess while @Leroyneels and @GeurtDijker are talking about Homey's ledring? Imho, that one led staying on denotes a hardware problem so support@athom.com would be the appropriate way to send a mail to.
