new router

hi simple question,if you get a new router,will it be sufficient if you name the wifi ssid and password the same as current
so that homey will work instead with the new router
or do i need to recover homey with keeping the data

    If you rename it the same Homey will pick it up otherwise do a reset but keep data (you can change wifi without losing your data) see the support article -> https://www.athom.com/en/support/KB000011/

    yes it is the same homey,my thoughts are shutdown homey,install the new router and then fire up homey

    If you keep the SSID the same, the password the same it should work.

    see its standing not logical but i meant if you keep the same (SSID / Password) Homey will pick it up :) Did it work for you?
