Learning app for Signals

I don't know if it's possible, beacause om not a software writer, but is it possible to learn some different signals to Homey and than assign it to what you wanna do with it?
I like to hear what is possible?

    For IR it works like this... For 433 and 868 this doesn't work anymore... You'll need an app...

    Ok I thought this is much more easyer than al different sort of apps

    Not anymore? So this was possible before?? Why did they stopped with it!
