Harmony controlling Kaku etc

I got a Harmony hub but no home automation devices it knows about.  Does anybody know of a way to uses the home automation buttons on the remote to talk to Homey?

  • There is a harmony app, some people have some problems with it (like me), but you can try it.

  • of course, I use that.... But as far as I can see it does not allow virtual devices.

You mean the home automation buttons on the companion remote? Because i did the with HA bridge. Posted a how to somehere on the forum. HA-bridge is able to create a virtual hue bridge with http devices.
  • You keep surprising me swttt!

    Hehe

I am kinda loving it, added all the devices in HA-bridge already. And every other service (like Alexa for example) will see the virtual hue bridge and is able to add the devices.

It's also a nice work-around to get homey lights to work with homebridge, since homebridge has a hue plugin
