Hi there,

Is it correct that Homey is not able to display the software firmware version of a z-wave device?
Of is it somewhere (hidden)

Correct. Currently it is not possible to display the firmware version information of the Z-wave devices.

This is work in progress and will be added in a future version; also quite helpful for the developers to add on a robust manner parameters that are firmware dependent.
  • Assuming Fibaro later firmware versions offers a more improved & stable product, the feature to enable firmware updates through the Homey controller could potentially solve a lot of zwave issues. Seems a great small step forward for Athom to stabilize the platform.

Will be good if Homey supports to do firmware updates but it is really a question if Fibaro will provide the firmware update packages. Would also be nice for example if you can update Aeon devices. Aeon is providing new firmware for several of its products but only in a complete executable so then they should also provide the raw packages to Homey
