Flow protocol

is there a possibillity to see why a flow was not running?
like a protocol or something else?
I have a flow which works some time and some time not and I want to evaluate what is the reason for that...

    Make the flow smaller, one device/action at a time / send yourself a push message or write something in a google spreadsheet with IFTTT when the flow triggers and find out what is not working and when :) 

    Also you can use the logger app to see what is triggered and what for data is send in your flow from and to devices -> https://apps.athom.com/app/gov.nsa.logger
