Chromecast - cant play anything

Is anyone else experiencing the issue of wanting to cast anything to Chromecast but it returning in the flow with "object Object"
I can't cast anything at all. Any solutions?

Maybe you can give some more information, wich Homey version are you running are you on stable 1.1.9 or experimental 1.2, wich version of the Chromecast do you use, the stable v2.1.2  or the beta v2.2.3 and what are you casting through the Chromecast (also wich version of the app) and can you share a screenshot of how your flow looks?

Chrome Cast app is running 2.1.2
Homey is on 1.1.9
I am just trying to cast a youtube clip

I read somewhere, you use a workflow to call another workflow for chromecasting.. Attached are both the workflows. Please advise if this is correct?

@redricka try manually installing https://github.com/MarvinSchenkel/com.google.chromecast

If you want to use the mediaplayer (homey 1.2.+) You can download the "athom chromecast app" from github and replace the drivers folder with the drivers folder of MarvinSchenkel's app. Then manually install your modified athom's app.

It works for me

I don't know why they haven't implemented it as a standard, 'cause many have this problem with the original app and Martin aplied a really minor and most simple fix in the drivers.
