Manager/speech-input sometimes empty

Hi guys,

Yesterday I received my Homey and I am currently playing around with him. I am running the 1.2 RC 9 firmware and even using this firmware I really think the speech recognition sucks.. You can't compare this with an Echo or using Google voice. 

So what I have done is used Better Voice to create some of the words that Homey gets wrong to turn them into workable words. I was able doing so with using http://ip-homey/manager/speech-input. But I notice that sometimes the page just keeps blank even tho I am asking a question and receiving an answer from Homey.. 

How is this possible and how I can fix it?

    I made a typo in the URL in the post. But I sure was using the correct URL http://192.168.178.56/manager/speech-input. The IP adres match what I see in Homey: "address":"192.168.178.56","netmask":"255.255.255.0"

    With empty or blank I mean the site loads but none of the words are showing up... Like this:


    If I type a sentence in the box like: Lampen uit. It won't show up either. I did the following to troubleshoot:
    - Reopened the browser
    - Refreshes
    - Restarted Homey
    - Restarted the Homey desktop app..

    I am running on 1.2 RC9. 

    Any ideas?

  • as he said in his post, did you login to my.athom.com before going to that page?
    if the cookie is not set, then it won't connect to your homey for realtime showing
  • AHA!! Solved!! Thanks alot guys.. I couldn't find it in the manual
