How to get specific information out of tag

I want homey to be able to tell the driving time between two GPS positions.
My idea, is to use the google maps app in combination with the GPS positions (lat / lng) obtained by the GPS trace app.
Unfortunatelly, the position tag generated by the GPS trace app, can not be used directly in the google maps flow card. This because it contains more than just the coordinates.
So my question:
Is it posible to extract the coordinate information out of the GPS-Trace position tag, so that I can use it in the google maps flow card?
Or is there a better and easier way?
