Fail to add zwave switch

I try to add zwave switches to homey but fail below are the steps I did please enlighten me if I did something wrong

1)setting---- remove a device ---- device successfully removed 
2) device ----ground floor-----add a device 

then it says something is wrong

  • Please some more info. What brand and type for example is basic info. 

    Without you putting a little effort in it we can't help. I lost my psychic capability when I turned 40 :)

  • I had a similar problem a while back (not sure if it is the same). For me, it helped to place Homey closer to the switch when adding it. 
    Also, when a pairing fails, I often remove the device from Homey AND reset it to factory defaults. It should be overkill, but who knows if it makes a difference.

    Tried the method  but couldn't work ... I do think is some software issue , as I am manage to remove the device , just not able to add to homey ..... I think homey software might have some issue prevent me adding it 
  • You did a remove so the switch was paired with Homey before?
    Or did you do the 'remove a device' just to make sure the switch was properly reset?

    I removed the switch it is successfully removed but I can't get it added to homey , whenever I try to add it , it keep shows something went wrong
