Mobile Homey Apps - Presence

Where is the problem to build a functioning mobile app? There are so many custom solutions but they are all to complex or not working (wifi tracking only works if i disable the wifi sleep mode, what means the battery will drain faster) or have many disadvantages. Or i have to build more than one flow per device to check the presence. That sucks!!!
