Spooky....spontanious Homey activity

Yesterday evening, whilst enjoying our dinner, without any warning all Homey controlled lights went OFF (Hue) and the curtains openend (KaKu)... No feedback (LED or speech) from Homey.

Nobody was using a smartphone or tablet, I have no Flow that triggers at that specific time.

This rises a couple of questions:
- What could have caused this
- can I check a system log to see what happened
- how can I prevent this from happening again?

I switched back the lights on with a Hue smart remote and closed the curtains with a Homey voice command.

  • It was me, sorry.  :D

On topic: you might consider to use a basic firewall
  • Did Homey update to 1.1.9 at that moment with a restart?
  • @hnijveen
Expect some weird behaviour in your house, soon... ;-)

Well, I am on the latest f/w. I forced update by checking manually and updated a week ago when the latest f/w was made available in the experimental channel. Perhaps due to the experimental becoming promoted to stable....this happened. Good suggestion.!
  • Did your router reset? Causing loss of the wifi connection used to see someone is home or not. This happened to me and all the lights went of and my nest changed to Eco mode.
