Changing lights with my remote

Whenever I am switching to another channel on my Humax remote control it changes the light output on me ledstrip which I've bought at Action. Does anyone know how to prevent this from happening? I do not want to change my lights with my remote control which I am using for my television.

    Probably nothing you can do about that...
    Lots of cheap IR material don't use special codes and then you have the risk that those codes are also used by other devices...

    It's like those cheap 433Mhz doorbells, I have one (also from Action) and when someone rang my neighbor's door, my doorbell would ring also.
    Only real solution is to replace it.
