Aeotec older 4-in-1 sensor support

Hi all,

I have 2 older 4-in-1 devices from Aeotec (Aeon labs), that didn't work correctly out of the box, using the Aeotec App.
But with the correct settings, you can make it work!

  • Connect the device via the App, using the Multisensor 6 option.
  • Once added, go to the settings of the device
  • Add the following under "Raw configuration parameters" section
  • 111,4,30;112,4,30;113,4,30;101,4,225

Now I have this device powered via USB, if you're using batteries you probably want to set "30" to a higher value, as it stands for the reporting interval per sensor. More info here: http://www.vesternet.com/resources/application-notes/apnt-31#.WBdM_-ErJGU

  • Little Side Note:
    this won't be needed anymore when my PR is accepted by athom for the DSB05 (Multi Sensor 4-in-1)

    Thanks, this would be nice to use until the PR from caseda is accepted.
    The problem is: the save button at the 4in1 sensor setting tab is disabled. -1

    @Sandeman ;;
    look at the association groups and/or the wake-up time settings, it's probably on 0 somewhere there, which disables the button

    when you find the issue, please iterate, then i can fix it still in the PR.

    I changed all values but the save button keeps disabled.
    Tried to enable the button in chrome browser but no luck to save the changed settings.

    association groups and wake-up time are both >0
  • @Sandeman ;
    can you post a screenshot of your settings? if there is a scrollbar then please multiple screenshots so all settings are in view

  • Wake-up time is 0, by changing it to 1 the save button isn't enabled.
    Hope this can help you.

    @Sandeman ;
    oh men, so many mistakes in this older version of the app.

    change these settings:
    "on-time" = 300
    "enable motion sensor" = Disabled
    "Which reports to send. Interval group 1" = 225
    "Unsolicitate reports interval for timing groups 1" = 240
    "Unsolicitate reports interval for timing groups 2" = 720
    "Unsolicitate reports interval for timing groups 3" = 720

    wake-up interval = 7200

    then you should be able to save, if not, change these settings as well:
    "Which reports to send. Interval group 2" = 1
    "Which reports to send. Interval group 3" = 1

    Save

    After save:
    switch back these settings:
    "on-time" = 240
    "enable motion sensor" = Enabled

    then save again.
  • fixed!1

    Thanks.
