IR learned remote not visible in homey app

how can i get my ir remote to show in the homey app? i have added this remote in the layer living room but i can't do anything with it?

  • ok i made a flow and now it sometimes works when i press test but with speech "open cutrains" as a trigger it says that it can't find the flow

  • it sais it can't find curtains, while its in the IF statement
  • Can u post a screenshot of ur flow because i think u miss something here.

    Dus je hebt de gordijnen toegevoegd (b.v. Somfy) en die kan Homey niet vinden?
    Of heb je de afstandsbediening toegevoegd en niet in de "THEN" colom gebruikt?

    homey doesn't see your ir remote as a curtain so if you try to use "open curtain" (which is a build-in voice trigger) it will use the build-in voice command, no option yet to disable this.

    and since your homey doesn't see your ir remote as a curtain (its a ir remote for homey) it will not send a signal.
    it doesn't matter if you name the ir remote "curtain", it stays an ir remote.

    so you need to make your own trigger flow that doesn't use build-in voice triggers.
  • ok that works but not always, i sometimes have to push the test button 10 times before the curtains reacts. tried learning the ir codes in multiple manners from several distances.
