I have talked with Diederik, creator of the Solar panel app and have now a very simple solution. See below 2 flows.
- Flow 1 will send me the power-generation by push message and disable itself at the same time (to prevent keep pushing messages each ... minutes).
- Flow 2 will enable flow 1 again at sunrise the next morning.
No need for complex setting of variables whatsoever. Classical example of "keep it simple stupid"
If it's the first it won't work (assuming there's no production after sundown). If it's the latter it won't report the correct value as energy consumed is subtracted so it's not really the dagopbrengst but (dagopbrengst - energy used till sundown).
The Wh variable (which is in reality the kWh, but due to a bug it displays Wh) is the total generation of solar power. It has nothing to do with consumption. Yes, of course, it's nice to know what is the net profit of your solar panels (so: generation minus consumption) but that is outside the scope of this issue.
We, at least I, only want to know what the production is per day. Nothing more, nothing less.
Both Diederik and I have seen that it really does work...
By the way: the 'after sundown' condition is used to trigger the event/flow. You're right, after sundown there's no generation anymore. That's exactly why it makes sense to take that as a sensible moment that you want to know your daily generation.
Maybe if you ask him real nicely and make a big donation, lol.
