push / turn button

Would be great if new homey's will have the upper half be an push and turnable knob, like a dj scratch ring. Then we can use it to do stuff like dimm the lights, turn something on/ off or trigger an alarm etc. etc. etc. Where to put this hardware idea? Here?

I wouldn't want that. I really like the current and clean look.
I'll buy something that can do the things your describing.
